| My friend Ray rebuilt the rear end, new bearings, seals, an after market posi chuck, and Richmond 4-10 gears. | |
| The Crager Street Super Tricks, and the BFs will fill out the wheel wells quite nicely! | |
| Rolling chassis is done. I've added stainless steel brake and fuel line, since picture was taken. | |
The Body |
Even though the car looked good before the resto. There were a lot of hidden problems! |
| Parts of the floor where bad. I got new replacement pieces, and with the help of my friends Joe and Randy, It was out with the old, In with the new. | |
| Joe did all welding from the inside of the car. that way there was not much grinding to do underneath. | |
| After removing the plastic storage box, from behind the drivers set, I found all the Wasted space! (This is where the rear seat goes in the wagons.) I had plans of wild stereo System. So why not use this area for an enclosure for two 12inch subwoofers! After cutting the speaker holes, I found some rot. With no way to get at it! I decided to cut the rear wall out below the bed. All spot welds where drilled out So that when all the work was completed it could be re-welded back in. This opened up a can of worms! |
