There was a brace back there that didn't look so good under it. Can't stop here, I drilled out all the spot-welds, and the brace was removed. Good thing! The floor under the brace was full of pinholes. Cut all that out, and fabricate new ones. All new pieces where Butt-welded in by Joe.

Now put the brace, and back wall back in. The body was put up on a homemade Rotisserie, using two cherry pickers, and some cables I made at work. I hooked the cables to the Tailgate hinge bolt holes, and the front fender bolt holes. This worked out quite well.

The bottom side of the car was sandblasted, and primed with a self-etching primer. Holes where cut in the bed braces to assure there where no problems! As you can See butt-welding all the floor peaces from the inside leaves little work now. Just A little bondo and sanding.

The floor looks nice and clean!

The body was then placed on a different Chassis for all major bodywork. More parts sandblasted, ready for primer.
