| When I started out redoing the car I wanted it to really stand out I wanted people to remember that there was 1973-77 Chevelle's and Elky's out there. The plan was to have a killer paint job so people would give it a look. 95% of even my friends ask why??? why a 75! Ok so the paint will get them to come over and look (Hopefully) then it's up to the rest of the details. I picked House of Kolors for my paint. Candy Eggplant Purple. Now the net step was to find someone that would paint it using that paint. Well that took me almost a year then I found someone. The first guy gave me the run around for four years! "Your next!" Ya right. | |
| One of my friends was talking to another friend that lived down in North Carolina. They started talking about my car. My friend in NC almost fell over when he heard that I was still waiting. He (Ray) said tell him to bring it down and I'll paint the thing for him! I give him a call so see if he really would do it, and he said yes. So this is the car sitting in Ray's garage...next time I see it there will be some paint on it! | |
| After almost seven years leaning up the garage I finely took the plastic off the finished chassis. I put the rims & tires back on it, and gave it a bath. | |
| Joe and I put in some long hours installing the drive train. Getting it ready for the trip done south. | |
| The fresh drive train is all set. |
