WELCOME

Welcome to my El Camino Restoration site. On this page you can see all the steps taken to rebuild my Elky to what I'm hoping to be one of the nicest around. In the past few years it seems that there's a growing interest in the forgotten years, so I've added a 1973 to 1977 ONLY Parts page. Also there has been  a lot of emails asking were I've gotten my parts from, so a Links page has also been added. I started the Resto in 1994 and have had my share of ups & downs. Resto Complete 7-17-07!!!!

GOT CASH?

I went with Candy Eggplant Purple-designed by House of  Kolor's. (Remember ZZ Tops '48 Caddy, CadZZilla?) On my step by step photos I've added description on each stage. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome, so drop me a line and don't forget to sign my Guest Book.

About me and my rides

I live in northern Connecticut and have been a Chevy enthusiast since I  was 14. I've had my share of cool cars! Five Chevy II's, 70 SS Chevelle, 64 Chevelle, 72 SS El Camino, The newest car is a 67 Pro-Street Camaro. And of course the 75 El Camino, which I've had since 1987. I believe I'm the 4th. owner. A friend drove the car from California and I picked it up from him. I could write a book on this car! From getting hit, stolen and stripped, redone, raced, And now a frame off restoration. The car will have everything new or rebuilt. A 355 with 400 hp. M21 4 speed, with a posi rear 4-10 gears, 265-50's (front) 295-50's (rear).

Hope you enjoy the site.
